Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and the company that runs Billify. Please read them before you use it.

1. Who we are and this agreement

Billify (billify.org) is provided by BCCBGROUP S.R.L., Str. Sub Cetate nr. 146, ap. 8, 407280 Florești, Cluj County, Romania, trade register J12/1203/2020, tax ID (CUI) 42466228. By creating an account or using Billify, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Billify for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

2. What Billify does

Billify helps you create and send invoices, show your clients how to pay, match payments to invoices, and prepare exports and e-invoice files. You can use it in the browser, through our API, or from AI apps you connect.

Billify never holds your money. Payments go directly to your bank account, your wallet or your payment provider. Billify is not a bank, a payment institution or a crypto custodian.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
  • Keep your password and API keys safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including through API keys and connected AI apps.
  • Tell us at once at help@billify.org if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Plans and payment

  • The Free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page, currently 3 invoices a month.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Prices are shown on the pricing page. Taxes may be added where the law requires.
  • If we change prices, we tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
  • Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law gives you that right.

5. Your invoices are your responsibility

You decide what goes on your invoices and to whom you send them. You are responsible for their content and for meeting the tax and invoicing rules that apply to you, including VAT, numbering, keeping records and sending e-invoices where required.

Billify creates e-invoice files in standard formats and checks them against the published validation rules, and it shows general information about rules in some countries. This is help, not tax or legal advice. Check with your accountant.

6. AI features and AI apps

  • AI features can make mistakes. Read what they write before you send it.
  • When you connect an AI app (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok) or an AI agent with an API key, it acts in your account within the permissions, limits and approval rules you set. Its actions count as yours.
  • You can disconnect an AI app or revoke an API key at any time in Settings.

7. Crypto payments

  • Crypto and stablecoin transactions cannot be reversed. Check the address, network and amount before you send or ask for a payment.
  • A payment sent to the wrong address or network may be lost. Billify cannot recover it.
  • Stablecoins and their networks are run by third parties. Their value or availability can change.
  • You are responsible for your wallets and private keys. Billify never asks for them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Billify to:

  • break the law, including tax, sanctions and anti-money-laundering laws;
  • issue false or misleading invoices, or invoice for illegal goods or services;
  • send spam or phishing, or pretend to be someone else;
  • break into, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or go around plan limits.

We may suspend accounts that do, and report them where the law requires.

9. Your content and ours

You own the data you put into Billify. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Billify, its design and its code belong to BCCBGROUP S.R.L., except the parts we publish as open source (such as invoice-passport), which are under their own licences.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Billify available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Features marked as beta or pilot may change or stop. We may improve or change the service; if we remove something important from a paid plan, we tell you in advance.

11. Liability

Billify is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits or lost data you did not export), for losses caused by third-party services (banks, blockchains, payment providers, AI apps), or for the content of your invoices.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Billify and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data; export your invoices first. We may end or suspend your account if you seriously break these terms, and we tell you why unless the law prevents it.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes go to the competent courts in Cluj, Romania, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to the courts where you live.

14. Changes to these terms and contact

If we change these terms, we update the date above and, for important changes, tell you at least 30 days in advance. Questions: help@billify.org.
